S I Z E

Each toy is individually handcrafted and therefore may present with slight variances in size. The average size of the body of each toy is about 19" long  X  4" wide, the quintessential size for optimal cat playtime and laytime.

D U R A B I L I T Y

Depending on how many miles the toy is ridden and whether your feline friend is a lead foot or a light foot, these toys last a really, really long time.

They may take a beating, but some cats have been known to hold onto the same toy for a near-decade. If damage is detected, please discard and replace. Contains small parts. Not a child's toy.

I N  T H E  L O O P

The knit of each toy is made from an abundance of itty-bitty micro-woven outer loops. These compact outer loops are purposed for paw-and-claw pleasure. Your cat pushing in and pulling out of the outer-looped yarns will not cut or rip open the toy. The toy is designed, much like a plush version of a scratching post, to foster and withstand this instinctive cat behavior. Please note, this activity will cause some pulled threads. The only consequence of the pulled threads is that kitty's toy will appear well-loved, yet no less intact or durable.

C A R E  I N S T R U C T I O N S

If the toy becomes soiled, gently spot clean by hand with a cool, damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry. Do NOT machine wash, machine dry, or iron. Contains catnip and plastic parts.

C A T  &  M O U S E

The only physical distinction between Sockitty® and MyMouse® is that (1), MyMouse® is typically made from gray, ecru, or oatmeal-colored yarns, while Sockitty® comes in a wide range of assorted colors. And (2), MyMouse® has the face of a mouse with black eyes and a pink nose, while Sockitty® has the face of a cat with cat-like eyes and a black nose. See listing pictures for examples.
